We are excited to announce the integration between Tier and Dott, designed to enhance your riding experience. To ensure a seamless transition, we encourage you to use your data portability right to transfer your account information from Tier to Dott with your consent.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), you have the right to data portability. This right allows you to obtain and reuse your personal data across different services. It gives you the ability to move, copy, or transfer personal data easily from one IT environment to another in a safe and secure manner, without affecting its usability. In this case, it means you can authorize the transfer of your account information from Tier to Dott, making it easier for you to continue using our services without interruption. Data portability is designed to foster competition among services and provide more control to you over your data.
The legal basis for this data transfer is your consent via your right to data portability under GDPR. Consent means that you have given clear permission for us to transfer your data. By consenting to this transfer, you enable us to facilitate your account migration, ensuring a smooth transition to Dott. With this consent, we aim to give you control over your personal data during the easy account creation process and comply with GDPR requirements, which are designed to protect your personal data and privacy. GDPR Article 20 specifically addresses the right to data portability, ensuring that you can receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and have the right to transmit those data to another controller.

Please note: Your payment details will not be migrated. You will need to re-enter your payment information in the Dott app.
For the ID Verification: We may automatically process certain personal data in specific markets to facilitate the ID verification step. This may include: (a) verification status, (b) required age, (c) photos (selfies), and (d) the date of ID verification. This processing is essential for the efficient management of the ID verification process and to enhance the overall user experience.
We automatically receive your latest performance and email marketing opt-in preferences from Tier to Dott. You can always change this setting from the mobile application or contact us at privacy@ridedott.com.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you decide to withdraw your consent, you can simply initiate the deletion of your account within the mobile application or contact us at privacy@ridedott.com. By doing this, we will delete your transferred personal data. You can always come back, and we can provide easy account creation with your consent, or you can create a new account in the Dott app manually.
