Say bonjour to the new Dott e-bike!

This October, Paris will be the first Dott city to welcome our brand-new fleet of e-bikes, before they roll out to other cities across Europe and the Middle East. Designed in collaboration with our long-standing partner, Segway, these new bikes are engineered to provide the ultimate riding experience, promising enhanced comfort, extended range, and smoother daily commutes.

Beyond significantly upgrading the user experience, these new e-bikes will reinforce the company’s long-term commitment to making cycling more accessible, reliable, and sustainable for all. With the renewal of our Paris contract for four more years, we are excited to continue supporting Paris in its journey towards becoming a greener and more livable city.

The ultimate riding experience

Our new Dott e-bikes may look familiar… but they just got a serious upgrade:

📱 Faster unlock — just scan & go
🔋 2x battery — go even further
🚲 Lighter frame — get comfy
💺 Easy adjust – perfect fit, fast
🛒 Metal basket – strong & sturdy

These improvements make our bikes simpler, more enjoyable, and more inclusive, so you can make the most of your Dott rides.

A launch in Paris, before a wider rollout

Paris is one of the world’s most advanced cities in terms of urban mobility. In 2025, Dott already registered over 5.3 million rides in Paris and more than 400,000 active riders in 2024. Therefore, it was a natural choice to renew our 6,000-vehicle fleet in Paris first, before expanding to many other cities.

“Paris is a global showcase for sustainable urban mobility. Our continued presence since early 2019 demonstrates our support for the city’s ambitious sustainability goals, which is fully aligned with our own mission to change mobility for good. We’re excited to continue providing Parisians and visitors with a safe, reliable, and affordable service for the next four years. This starts today with the launch of our new Dott e-bike, which we know riders will love. And we all look forward to offering this new e-bike to many more cities, to many riders” said Henri Moissinac, CEO and Co-Founder of Dott.

Together, let’s change mobility for good!

Hop on board!
