E-SCOOTER And E-BIKE Provider Dott LAUNCHes MINUTE PASS

Amsterdam/ Berlin,  8th of April 2025 –

The European provider of shared e-scooters and e-bikes, Dott (www.ridedott.com), is launching its minute pass today. This new feature allows users to use e-scooters and e-bikes even more flexibly in more than 400 cities in 21 countries.

Minutes Pass

The new Minute Pass

Users can now choose from various minute passes: The pass for 30 minutes with a validity of 24 hours. As well as the 100-minutes pass for seven days. In some selected cities, there will also be a pass for 300 minutes for 30 days. When using the minute pass, users do not have to pay the activation fee. This means they only pay the price of the pass and can use the minutes flexibly – whether it’s six journeys of five minutes each or one journey of 30 minutes.

Until autumn 2024, the mint green e-scooters and e-bikes were driving through the cities under the TIER brand name. In order to offer users more vehicles in more cities, a total of 250,000 vehicles were migrated from the TIER app to the Dott app. The minute pass was a much-loved feature in the TIER app, which has now been implemented in the new app. As soon as the paid minutes are used up, users pay the standard price per minute. Payment can be made conveniently via PayPal, credit card and Apple Pay.

The minute pass is currently not available in all cities and will be launched in some cases at a later date.
