Dott x ATAC Metrebus Rome – 
Ride your way through Rome

As an ATAC Metrebus annual subscriber, you can unlock an exclusive Dott promo to move around Rome, your way. The promo is valid for one month and gives you 90 rides, with up to 3 rides of 30 minutes per day, for an activation fee of just €0.02.  

Going further? No problem! Once your 30 minutes per ride are up, you’ll pay the standard per-minute rates.

Who can get it?

The promo is exclusively for holders of a physical  or digital annual Metrebus Roma card.

You’re not eligible if you have:

  • A Metrebus Lazio subscription that doesn’t include Zone A (Rome)
  • An FF.OO. (Police Force) card

To apply, your Dott account must be active, your ID must be verified, and your name must match your Metrebus card exactly, including any special characters and accents.

Claiming your promo

Step 1 — Submit your request

Fill in the Request Form. You’ll need your Metrebus subscription number, a photo of your ATAC card, and a photo of your subscription purchase receipt

Step 2 — Verification and payment

Your Metrebus card is verified against the ATAC registry and your Dott account is checked for eligibility. Once everything clears, you’ll receive a payment link by email (valid for 72 hours) to pay the activation fee.

Step 3 — Activation

Once payment is confirmed, a promo code will land in your inbox. Tap the button in the email and your promo will activate automatically.

A few things to note: the promo is personal and non-transferable. It’s valid only within the Municipality of Rome and can’t be shared. It also can’t be combined with other active promotions. If your request is rejected, you can resubmit once you’ve corrected the issue. Use of the ATAC promo is subject to Dott’s Terms and Conditions.

How long does it take?

Your promo will be issued within 5 business days from the date you submit your request, so long as all checks go through and the activation fee is paid on time.

Processing can take longer if:

  • Your information is incomplete or incorrect
  • You don’t meet the eligibility requirements
  • The activation fee payment isn’t completed within 72 hours of receiving the payment link

Renewing your promo

You can check the expiration date and number of remaining rides at any time under Menu Promos in the Dott app.

Expiring soon? You can request a renewal from 5 business days before the expiry date using the Request Form.

Had a delay?

If you requested your ATAC promo between 1 October 2023 and 25 November 2025 and it was processed later than our standard timeframe, you may be eligible for free rides as compensation.
