Download the Dott app and check the map to find Dott vehicles nearby.

Scan the vehicle’s QR code in the Dott app to unlock it and start the ride.

E-scooter: Push off with one foot, press the throttle, and off you go! Be sure to keep both feet on the board once you get going.

E-bike: Unlock the back wheel, adjust the seat if necessary, and start pedaling – the electrical assistance will kick in automatically.

Squeeze both brake levers on the handlebars to slow down, and be sure to use the turn indicators when riding a scooter.

Check the map to find a parking spot nearby, or park neatly without blocking pathways.

You can ride a Dott along cycle paths in most places of your city. However, it’s forbidden to ride or park in certain areas, to ensure the safety of all pedestrians and road users. Always check Dott’s in-app map before your ride.

When in blue zones (placed around busy central areas), you must park in a parking spot marked with a “P” on the map. Elsewhere, you can park anywhere without blocking pathways, entries & exits, or other public spaces. Always check the map before riding to see where you can park.

To avoid a fine, don’t ride or park in red areas on the map – this includes places outside the riding area. These areas are forbidden to ride or park in for everyone’s safety, and to ensure our operations team can access our vehicles.
