Where to ride

Riding area
You can ride your Dott within the city’s riding area, marked on the map in the app. You can’t park, continue or end your ride outside of this area. If our system detects that you’re leaving a designated riding zone, the Push&Go button will be deactivated and you won't be able to accelerate anymore. If you continue to move away from the riding zone, the scooter will slowly come to a stop. To avoid any relocation fees, just remember to check the map in the app beforehand to see where you can ride.

No-go zones
Cities may have no-go zones (such as parks) that you’re forbidden by law to enter on a scooter. These are outlined in red on your in-app map. We recommend checking your map to plan out your route beforehand, so you can avoid these areas. Leaving your vehicle outside of the riding area might lead to an administrative relocation fee up to €300 in addition to possible legal fines from cities, so be sure to park inside this area! Naturally, we'll let you know if you reach the border with a push notification so that this doesn't happen.

Slow & steady wins the race
When entering a low-speed zone, your scooter will automatically slow down. These zones are colored green in the app map. Take extra care when riding through these areas.
