We’re looking for a Senior People Partner to lead our leadership team in Amsterdam and/or European teams, to ensure they’re growing and getting the best from their people. The Senior People Partner has the strategic mindset with a healthy mix of being hands on. They will be part of our People Advisory team that together with the People Ops and Talent Acquisition teams constitute The People Team (currently 18 members and growing). People Advisory (‘The Ride’) focuses on the performance, development and engagement within Dott.

What you'll do

  • Being an effective sparring partner for our managers to all things related to people in their teams. 
  • Coaching managers to get the best from their teams (team structure, performance, growth & promotions).
  • Collaborating with our People Team on hiring, L&D, general wellbeing, to launch initiatives that meet the needs of our teams and help us retain and grow the best people, ensuring great employee experience for Dotters
  • Ensuring great employee experience as we scale backed by data: by identifying and acting on trends and opportunities
  • Challenging managers on their thinking, and guiding them on difficult conversations when it’s appropriate to do so
  • Supporting team members and managers in case of sickness and absence
  • Responsible for legal, compliance, governance items in collaboration with People Ops and Legal Teams
  • Acting as an ambassador of ‘The Dott Way’ to act in line with our culture and values

What you'll need

  • Experience working with managers and leaders at all levels, in a people partnering role in an international, fast-growing company
  • Understanding of organisational dynamics, knowing what healthy, high-performing, growing teams look like and being able to guide managers to achieve that
  • Hands-on attitude with strategic mindset
  • High collaboration & prioritising skills; constantly looking for optimisation.
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organisation (stakeholder management) to achieve results
  • Ability to drive, own and deliver organisational change programmes and/or people roadmaps
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law, and know how to get answers for the things you don’t know.
  • Effective communication in professional business English
