We’re looking for a Public Policy Manager to represent and be the voice of Dott for the UK market. You will win key new markets for Dott by developing partnerships with cities, identifying and delivering on competitive bids within the UK. You will build and maintain our relationships with key stakeholders such as municipalities and local business partners. The Policy Manager will report to the UK country manager and collaborate with several cross functional stakeholders. The position will be located in London.

What you'll do

  • Target key markets for Dott in the UK and Ireland for market expansion of bikes and scooters
  • Lobby on priority issues for Dott at central government, regional government and London borough levels
  • Collaborate with city officials and stakeholders to shape market standards
  • Represent Dott at public policy related local events
  • Support tender applications and help localise service and product offering
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders during scooter trials
  • Review city and key stakeholder feedback and create service improvement plans with local ops teams
  • Work with local stakeholders to ensure successful uptake of Dott services
  • Develop strategic partnerships for research and insight gathering, meeting social inclusion goals, promoting equitable access and improving safety
  • Work with HQ market development team on early market engagement projects across Europe

What you'll. need

  • 3-5 years experience in public policy, project management, policy-related consulting, transport consulting or similar
  • A network of established relationships into mobility related public and private sector stakeholders is a big plus
  • Proven experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Fluent in English with additional languages a plus
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage various stakeholders
  • A vision and passion for green mobility
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrate proactive attitude and thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment and in multiple teams simultaneously.
