The Central Operations manager (warehouse operations) is responsible for supporting our local operations in delivering on operational excellence. By this, we mean supporting market growth, being the voice of local markets as well as rolling out new tools and processes. This role is highly cross functional and will allow you to learn in-depth about various headquarter teams and be at the heart of decision making.

What you'll do

  • Monitor the key performance indicators across all the markets and identify areas for improvement
  • Host weekly warehouse operations meetings to allow knowledge gathering as well as spreading it across all the markets
  • Host monthly warehouse operations meetings and identify actions  to drive improvements
  • Perform market visit and, together with your local partners, identify process gaps and a clear action plan to drive improvements (with regular follow up)
  • Ensure that all markets always have the equipment needed to perform their operations (spare parts, tools, software…)
  • Keep building the collaborative interaction model between the Central Operations teams and local city teams
  • Identify the needs for operational changes, product improvements and data analysis, and collaborate with the Process design manager to ensure prioritization
  • Gather feedback from local teams on the current operational tools (software, hardware, tools and equipment) and collaborate with central stakeholders (product, hardware, central ops...)to prioritize, scope the requirements and implement the changes
  • Collect the information related to hardware issues faced by the local teams and follow up on the resolution with the Field Quality Manager
  • Become the subject matter expert when it comes to Warehouse Operations
  • Be responsible for rolling out processes and monitor the adoption until completion
  • Follow monitoring dashboards to report the adoption of a feature released or a rework performed, and push for stronger adoption when needed.
  • Drive analysis on important decisions or issues faced by the local markets, to measure impact and resolution in order to inform key stakeholders
  • Project manage key initiatives as they come up from ideation to completion

What you'll need

  • Experience in either operations management, business consulting or project management & implementation experience
  • Experience with data driven decision-making
  • Experience in construction, real estate or warehouse/manufacturing operations a plus
  • Willingness to travel more than 10% of your time
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks to ensure success
