T&E Accounts Payable Specialist (VMD and T&E)

As the Accounts Payable specialist you are part of a dynamic team that manages the daily finance operations for our headquarters and multiple entities. Your main responsibility will be ensuring that Dott’s expenses and corporate card expenditure are recognised in accordance with our policy,  as well as reviewing the quality control of our vendors. Our travel and expense stream involves multiple companies and types of costs, so be prepared for some complex activities! Next to processing and reviewing transactions you will work on projects that will help design the quality, structure and timeliness of our travel and expense, and Vendor Master Data process. With this dual focus you will have a key-role in the steady delivery and improvement of high quality and timely financial insights.

What you'll do

  • Work together with the accounting manager to determine, amend and improve the travel and expense and corporate card and VMD process
  • Support with the integration of a travel and expense and corporate card new system and policy
  • Ensure transactions are accurate and in line with our travel and expense and corporate card policy
  • Review T&E and Corporate Card transactions for all our entities
  • Liaising with our Treasury Manager to resolve issues and strengthen the process.
  • Monitoring and resolving queries through the mailbox and ticketing system
  • Create and maintain travel and expense reports and reconciliations
  • Support in month end and closing procedures as well as year-end closing
  • Support in providing documentation requirements for audits
  • Accurately process supplier and customer setups and maintenance per department policies and procedures

What you'll need

  • Travel and Expense and Vendor Master Data experience in similar or related role
  • Understanding of core accounting principles related to IFRS
  • Experience in a fast-past scale-up environment or mature corporate environment
  • Self starter with the ability to be logical and objective
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Data drive and ability to prioritize workload 
  • Experience working in Travel systems such as Concur
  • Experience working in ERP systems preferably SAP, or Oracle
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • AVAILABILITY TO WORK FROM OUR AMSTERDAM OFFICES AT LEAST 4 DAYS PER WEEK
